Two DDO seniors in critical condition after car hit
A couple from the West Island is in critical condition after they were hit by a car, while out for a walk, Tuesday night. Police said they were hit by a possible drunk driver in a residential neighbourhood in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, near the corner of Ceres Street and Andras Street. The pedestrians are in their 70s. Both suffered serious head injuries. Police said the driver was arrested on the scene, smelling like alcohol. He is in custody Tuesday night and is facing charges of drunk driving.
